CHAMBER BANQUET

Each March, the Williamsburg Hometown Chamber hosts an annual awards banquet. This year the banquet is scheduled for March 5, 2024. The theme is "Red, White & Who?". Tickets go on sale February 5. For sponsorships and details, please call the Chamber at 843-355-6431. Businesses and community members are nominated for special awards, including:

Citizen of the Year - A person who has promoted Williamsburg County in a positive manner and has been involved in a variety of community activities.
Club/Organization of the Year - An organization or club which has completed an outstanding achievement or special activity. The club should support Williamsburg County through community involvement.
Humanitarian of the Year - An invidual who has made an unselfish donation of time and talent to benefit the county.
Industry of the Year - A Chamber Member industry who provides community support, special activities, and accomplishments toward improving the lifestyle in Williamsburg County.
Merchant of the Year - A Chamber Member merchant who provides community support, special activities, and goes above and beyond for their customers. They must also make accomplishments toward improving the lifestyle in Williamsburg County.
Agriculturist of the Year - A person, family farm, or business involved in agriculture who has community involvement, is a promoter of Williamsburg County's natural resources (wildlife management, conservation, etc.), is willing to help others, and actively protects and safeguards Williamsburg County's natural resources.
Community Image Award - An individual, community, business, or organization which has improved or preserved the image of Williamsburg County through landscaping, remodeling, or the construction of a new structure. This award goes to one who beautifies surroundings in keeping with Williamsburg County's charm, heritage, and history; keeps the community and surrounding areas clean and free of litter; actively promotes Williamsburg County through business practices; and community involvement.
